Do you have a mobile app?

Yes we have both an Android and an iOS app that our customers and their staff have access to - Luigi Time. All our apps support GPS based sign in and sign out. The mobile app only allows employees and visitors to sign in and out but not to access your Business Dashboard.

What kind of support do I receive as a customer?

We offer email support to all our customers but it is so easy to set up and use Luigi Time that we probably won’t be hearing from you.

What is your “Photo capture at sign in” feature?

When employees or visitors sign in, they will be required to take a selfie/picture of themselves. Their picture will be posted with their sign in details on your business dashboard. This can be used to verify the employee’s attendance, especially if they are being sent to a client site or you are required to provide attendance reporting to your clients.

Can I access this from any computer?

Yes! You can also set up a terminal mobile device such as an iPad or any tablet for your employees to sign in/out. There is both an Android and iOS app you can download and set up within a few minutes.

How do I choose between the mobile sign in or a terminal sign in?

It all depends on the needs of your business. If you have set locations and want employees to be able to sign in and out just before they start their shift, then having a Luigi Terminal is probably recommended. If your employees are required to travel between sites or you do not have a spot for a terminal, then mobile access is recommended.

You can also use both a terminal and mobile sign in for your locations as the reporting will inform you how each staff member signed in and out for each shift. You can specify for each location whether you want to have a terminal and/or mobile sign in option available for your employees and visitors.

What tablet do I need to use for Luigi Terminal?

You can use any tablet, either iOS or Android as we have a compatible app for both so you can use what you already have!

Why do I need to import my existing staff list?

When Importing the existing staff they will be able to login and log out for their shift/job using just their mobile number and it will assist you with reporting for payroll so that names are consistent with your records.

If an employee is not listed in the system, they can sign in as a visitor and you can then add them as an employee in the system via your Visitors list page. You will need to make sure that the name entered by the employee is the same as that in your business records.

What happens if one of my employees fails to sign out?

You can sign out any staff from your Business Dashboard. You will not be able to adjust the sign out time so it is best to make sure all staff sign out as soon as they finish their shift.

Do I need to enter my credit card details to create an account?

No! You get a 2 week free trial or can opt for our free plan. If you decide to continue using Luigi Time you will be asked to subscribe and you can enter payment details via our secure payment platform.

How can I see who is onsite?

Via your Business Dashboard. You can view who is on site and their details. You can also use the filter for each location. Go to Luigiti.me and sign in.

How can I create or inactivate a location?

You can create a new location using the side tab Locations > 'New Location'. You can also inactivate the location, limit access to a terminal only and/or restrict access to the location for a specific team or employees.

What is the team feature?

You can create a team for a specific task/job/category that caters to your business needs and then use this team to limit access to a location.

For example, you can create teams based on client sites and them limit access to those locations to any persons listed in that Team. You can use this information to filter your reports. This is not a compulsory feature and is there to assist you organise your employees.

What is the Visiting Companies feature?

If you have contractors/agency working for your business you can set them up as a visiting company and it will be also available on your reports. It will show you the name of the person and the visiting company that accessed your worksite.
